Your profile on a resume is a short section at the top of your resume that summarizes your key qualifications and skills. It helps hiring managers quickly see if you’re right for the job before they read your entire resume.
Your profile can either be written as a paragraph or as a bulleted list, and briefly summarizes your work history, achievements, and relevant skills. Resume profiles (unlike other types of resume introductions) don’t target a specific job, making them ideal for candidates who are handing their resume out at job fairs or uploading their resume to job search sites.
