To get a resume template in Microsoft Word, you can either download a resume template online and open it in Word, or use one of Word’s own templates.
To use one of Word’s own resume templates:
- Open the Microsoft Word home screen.
- Click the “New” button in the column on the left.
- In the search bar in the upper right-hand corner, type “resume.”
- Browse through the available resume templates (there are over 100).
- Click on one that you like, then select “Create” (or double-click it) to start editing it.
