RemoteJobs.io Review: Is it Worth It?

We recently tried out RemoteJobs.io to find out how effective the platform is for locating and applying for remote jobs. Here’s what we learned about the company’s services:

Subscription options

Depending on your needs, you can choose one of two subscription options:

1. 14-day access

If you go for the 14-day option for $2.95, you get two weeks of full access to all features on the Remote Jobs platform. This includes personalized job matches as well as the ability to save job listings and upload your work from home resume and other application documents directly to the platform.

2. Monthly access

If you expect you’ll need more than two weeks to find your ideal job match, you can sign up for monthly access for $5.95. This option doesn’t come with any additional benefits or features.

What we liked

After testing RemoteJobs.io, here are the features we liked:

1. All jobs have been vetted

Because Remote Jobs vets all the companies and job listings on their website, there’s less risk that you’ll waste your time applying for ghost jobs that don’t exist or falling victim to job scams.

According to Remote Jobs, each company goes through an evaluation process before it’s allowed to post jobs on the website. During this evaluation, the Remote Jobs team looks at factors ranging from industry reputation to company social media profiles.

2. The job search tool filters out irrelevant listings

We found the search filters to be useful for filtering out jobs that don’t match your requirements. After clicking “Get Started”, you’ll be asked what kind of job title you’re targeting, what your minimum salary requirements are, and where in the world you’re looking for jobs.

Remote Jobs then generates a list of jobs that match your preferences, which you can access after subscribing.

3. You get free (limited) access to job listings

If you’re not yet sure if Remote Jobs is the right platform for you, you can use the free job search feature to view the full list of job listings for your target title available on the website.

You also get access to a brief job description as well as basic information about the role’s benefits, employment type, and salary range.

However, to get access to the full job description and to start applying for jobs, you’ll need a subscription.

4. You can cancel your subscription at any time

Once you’ve found a job and no longer need Remote Jobs’ services, you can cancel your subscription by going to your account settings and following the steps on the screen.

Even if you cancel your subscription, you’ll still be able to access your account and any documents you’ve uploaded.

5. There’s a money-back guarantee

If it turns out that Remote Jobs services don’t meet your needs, you’re eligible to receive a full refund within the first 14 days. This means you can test out all of the features for yourself before you commit to spending money on the platform.
