You end a resume with the information that’s least important to the job you want. For most job seekers, that’s their education section. If you have a lot of professional experience, your educational background isn’t as important to employers as your skills or work history.
However, if you recently graduated and have little work experience, your education is one of your stronger qualifications, and should be higher on the page. Recent college graduates should end their resume with an additional resume section that summarizes their extracurricular activities, relevant interests, or volunteer experience.
